The most colorful parade ever, featuring the beautiful "Miss Cullman County Fair 2007" Leah Gay; "Little Miss Cullman County Fair 2007" Miss Mollie Hall; "Little Miss Petite 2007' Miss Jenna Persall; and all the lovely contestants for "Miss Cullman County Fair 2008." Other attractions will be all Cullman County High School bands, Cheerleaders, Floats, Clowns and many, many other attractions.
Parade entries are taken IN PERSON ONLY at the Fair Office at the main gate on Sportsman Lake Road beginning September 2. Entry blanks are in the back of the fairbook and/or can be obtained at the Fair Office. A PARADE AUTHORIZATION CARD will be issued for each entry when the entry is completed and brought to the Fair Office. Parade entry deadline is Wednesday, September 12, 5:00 PM.
CANDY WILL NOT BE THROWN FROM PARADE VEHICLES.
VIOLATORS ARE SUBJECT TO BE EJECTED FROM THE PARADE. . |

4-H, FCCLA, and FFA Livestock Judging Contest (Cattle Show Arena)

"Miss Cullman County Fair" Pageant will be held in the Fair Theatre. Princess representatives of the nine high schools in Cullman County will compete on an equal basis for a $1,500 Scholarship Award (to be paid to the school in which she enrolls) given by the Fair Association. The winner will also receive a hand-finished, natural-color portrait awarded by "Photography by Theresa Burns" of Cullman, and a diamond pendant from Doug Doggett Jewelers of Cullman. The first runner-up will receive a $1,000 scholarship given by the Fair Association. In the event the winner is unable to fulfil any of her duties, the first runner-up will serve in lieu of the queen. Second runner-up will receive a $500 scholarship given by Cullman Lions Club. Wallace State College will give a one year scholarship in the field of performing arts to the winner of the Talent portion of the contest. Cullman Lioness Club will award $200 toward a scholarship for Miss Congeniality. Doug Doggett will emcee the pageant. |
