The Fair Office is located at 1501 Sportsman Lake Road, NW. The Fair Business office will be open
daily after Labor Day, from 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM, until the end of the fair. Telephone is 256-734-0661
and the fax number will be 256-734-1645. The fax number will
be connected after labor day and
disconnected at the end of the fair.

Our Special Appreciation
The officers and members of the Cullman County Fair Association wish to take this opportunity to
express their appreciation to:
The County Extension Office is appreciated and has been very instrumental putting together the
Individual Foods, Canning, Sewing, Handicrafts, 4-H, FCCLA and FFA Exhibits since the Fair started. A special thanks to 4-H, FCCLA, FFA, Teachers and their students for the great job done each year.
The Cullman County Fair Association is proud of its membership in the Association of Alabama Fairs,
the International Association of Fairs, and Expositions, and the Outdoor Amusement Business
Association

The Cullman County Fair Association and The Cullman Lions Club wish to pay tribute to the citizens
of Cullman County and surrounding areas for their excellent support of the Cullman County Fair since it
was begun in 1954. Without your support and help, there would be no Fair. The many indigent persons of Cullman County who have benefited from the proceeds of the Fair by
having the best of eye care and being able to have eye glasses are also grateful.
ACCIDENTS
The Cullman County Fair Association, owners of the Fair Grounds, will not be responsible or liable for
accidents occurring upon any part of said Fair Grounds, Concession Booths, Exhibit Buildings, Stock
Barns or any other building or tents. The management will, however, undertake reasonable precaution
in endeavouring to prevent any and all accidents.
PREMIUMS
Checks for prizes won at the Fair will be available at the Fair Office. The Fair Business Office is open during the Fair 8:30 AM to 5 PM.
Checks not picked up for will be mailed within 30 days following the last day of the Fair. (Checks are
valid for 90 days after issue date)
PARKING SPACES
Parking space on the Fair Grounds provided for auto, or small truck, is free. The Cullman County
Fair Association,, will not be responsible for said auto, truck, or other vehicle or their contents, etc., or in
the Agriculture Building, or Stock Barns, etc. The management will endeavour to guard against loss or
damage by using responsible precaution.

State Aid to Fairs
Through an enabling act passed by the 1969 Legislature, the Alabama Department of Agriculture
Center Board are Co-Sponsors of the Fairs of Alabama and pay a portion of the premiums, prizes,
and awards given by Alabama Fairs.
1. All entries must be made on the regular entry blanks furnished by the committee.
2. The Fair Grounds will be open for the reception of community 4-H, FCCLA , FFA and commercial
exhibits on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday before the fair, and exhibits must be located in
respective departments before 5:00 P.M. on Sunday.
3. In classes in which only one exhibitor makes entries, 2nd place premium will be paid, and if in
the opinion of the judges the article is not worthy of an award, none will be paid.
4. Every article on exhibit shall be under the control of the management, and while every
reasonable precaution will be taken for safeguarding the same, neither the management or its
officers, or guards, will be responsible for any loss, damage or accident that may occur.
5. Every entry must be made in the name of the bona fide owner at the time of entry. Any entry
made contrary to this rule will not be allowed to compete, and any premium awarded under such
conditions will be forfeited.
6. All exhibits must be removed by 5:00 P.M. on Sunday after the Fair.
7. The management reserves the right to reject any entry offered by an exhibitor and any entry
offered is with the distinct understanding that the same is subject to the general and special rules
as promulgated by the management
8. Rights are reserved to carry over program from day to day and to declare off any or all classes
on account of circumstances beyond our control.
9. Decorations, signs, cabinets, shelving, counters, etc. and the arrangement of exhibitions must
conform to guidelines set forth by management and local and state fire laws.
10. Exhibitors will be held responsible for the cleanliness of their booth. All booths must be in
readiness one hour before gates open during the Fair. In case of failure on the part of the
exhibitors to keep their spaces clean and orderly, the Fair Management may use such means as
they deem advisable to enforce this rule.
11. All articles, after being entered and until surrendered to their owner or agent, will be
entirely under the control and jurisdiction of the Fair Management, and no exhibitor will
be allowed to remove, re-arrange or disfigure same under any circumstances.
12. Space assigned and not occupied by 9:00 A.M. of the first day of the fair will be forfeited, as
well as fees paid.
13. The Fair management will use every precaution to guard against extortion. A violation of this
rule by any concessionaire will cause the forfeiture of the contract money paid, and expulsion from
the grounds, if the management deems necessary.
14. All complaints will be considered by the management, and their decision will be final.
15. Articles of Handicraft. Sewing any other other exhibit which have won premiums at any
previous Cullman County Fair are not eligible to be entered.
16. The distribution of hand bills or other advertising matter is strictly prohibited and no tacking or
posting of advertising bills, cards, etc., will be permitted on any of the buildings or elsewhere.
Exhibitors may advertise at and distribute from their space of exhibit only. No political data can be
distributed. Begging, soliciting, singing or public speaking is positively prohibited. Commercial
booths, paid or free, will be limited to inside of the booth only.
17. No roving vendor or solicitor, acting for either a profit or non-profit organization or on his own
behalf, shall be permitted on the Fair Grounds.
18. Advertising matter and samples of articles on exhibition only may be given the public from
booth space or exhibit, but no articles shall be sold from the exhibit without special authority from
the Management. The right is reserved to restrict or discontinue this privilege whenever it is
carried to excess or becomes an annoyance to visitors in the judgement of the Management. Only
advertising matter by exhibitors can be posted in the booth, except that cards no larger than 4" X 6"
may be used to identify firm supplying furniture or fixtures to exhibitors.
19. No exhibit can be removed before 8:00 A.M. Sunday, after the fair , except livestock.
20. Items exhibited must be produced, made or assembled since last year's Fair by
persons entering exhibit.
21. Any gifts to be given by registration must be done through the Fair Committee.
22. Total height of exhibit shall not exceed eight feet.
23. Exhibitors shall be limited to one entry in each class.
24. Exhibitors cars should be removed from fenced area at least one hour prior to Fair opening
time.
25. All animals, except feeder steers, market lambs, market hogs, crossbreeds, horses and goats
must be registered to be eligible for prizes.
26. Premium ribbons have no value as to payment of premium as premiums are paid only from the
records of the Judges' books.
27. All showcases, cabinets, shelving, counters, walls, wiring, piping, etc., required in the
installation of an exhibit shall be provided at the expense of the exhibitor.
28. Exhibitors may sell at their respective stands any article displayed to be delivered to the
purchaser at the close of Fair.
29. The Fair management reserves the right to amend or add to these rules, as they, in their
judgement, may deem advisable.
30. Cullman County Exhibits are open to bordering counties as well as rental of commercial booths
upon availability, while Cullman County businesses have first option.
31. All exhibits not picked up within one week after the fair is over will become the
property of the Fair Association and will be disposed of in the best manner possible.
